I've tried these shoes on before. It's like wearing cardboard on your feet.

ahh the good old cardbooard feel.

these are just too hipster for me.

You could buy some decent insoles @ Coles for $29 (Dunno the brand but I fit them in all my shoes, they are pretty great), and they come slightly comfier. I guess it's more beneficial if you already have the insoles due to replacing shoes though…

This is freaky, I was at Burwood Kmart just an hour ago buying a new pair of these. And when I got home and it is posted on Ozbargain. I got a blue pair this time. I also have a red pair, which I have used alot to do lots of walking in melb CBD but not one hole in it yet!

    • what do they feel like to where?

      • +4

Feels like you have shoes on.

      • They're a little 'hard' when you first wear them, but you can put in some sole supporters and they feel a lot better when you are walking for hours in. But for an hour it two it should be fine to wear around. This is totally subjective.

I bought a pair once biggest mistake was to wear white socks with them if you wear them for a few hours (3-5) your socks will start getting the colour of the shoe on them

    Do yourself a favour and buy some $30+ shoes you;

    A. Will actually wear
    B. Wont give you orthopedic problems and blisters
    C. Arent made by kids in the 3rd world

These are good shoes for just general work; mowing the lawn, gardening, etc.

You'd be hard pressed to find C - but besides, these companies give those people in the developing world jobs. Or should we just stop buying those products so they're then forced to live on the streets?

      • I didn't say 'people', I said kids (kids who work instead of getting an education) - of course we should buy products from developing countries

        • Even with the employment they are still living on the streets.

They only get given a enough money to barely eat.

Buying rubbish just to give them employment is just a crappy excuse.

  • these will be my new festival shoes, wear them once and in the bin they go

I bought $1 clearance boots from Kmart a few years back and lasted me 2 years (wore them a lot) and got many compliments. So if these are anything like the canvas boots I had, they'll last a long time. They held up pretty good in the snow and salt from sidewalks over 2 Canadian winters.
