Came across this store when I was looking around for a set of speakers for a home theater system and this is the cheapest I've seen this particular set, especially with the subwoofer included.

I also got the Marantz NR1603 from them in a bundle of sorts so they reduced pricing even further on the receiver too!

It was around $100 for shipping to me as I live in a rural area in Victoria but it should be free shipping to all metro areas for a lot of these items.

EDIT: Noticed the page of the speakers says the special for them ends on 4th of July but they have added it to their 'Start of financial year sale' so it has been continued to be discounted until the end of that sale.

EDIT #2: They've now extended the sale price to the 25th of July.

    It's not bad, but the ones from this deal are currently AUD$407 shipped (without sub). Compared to US prices, what we pay for speakers in Australia is beyond ridiculous. There are plenty of good speakers on Amazon US which ship to Australia at a fraction of the local price, including JBL.

      Different model, s506 is more expensive than the other one. $999 including sub and delivery is not bad at all in Australia.

        Yeah, had checked Amazon for similar pricing here and this is without the subwoofer (HCS 3 is without the sub, HCS 6 has the sub). Not bad, but I still prefer to buy local if it's not a lot more - besides, these S506s can only be shipped in the US according to this page.

        I agree, though - what we pay can be quite ridiculous and that's why OzBargain is here to help with that :).

    This is the one that Amazon had on sale in Wenge without the Sub for around $120 which many ozbargainers jumped on.
    Note that Amazon has it back to $399 + shipping so well done to those who got it earlier this/last year.

      Yeah, I got them last deal at a steal. Been using them now for over 7 months, works like a dream. Highly recommend them.

    I have had this set of speakers for about 3 years - they're fantastic, sounded better than many of the higher priced sets I listened to. I paid around $1400 I think back then through JB Hifi, and that was with a fairly decent discount.

        Simply audio quality.

        You cant describe audio quality over text.

        the S series is flashy and looks amazing, but is assembled in china.

        the C series is not, and while looking incredibly simple, sounds like delicious butter for your ears.

        C607's go listen then try the S8** series or something around the same price point.

    … just remember guys sub is usually 120volts so need stepdown transformer
