      Does using a fake US billing address work?

      The codes I've been sent in the past have always worked even with the fake address.

        Yes they do. Just use your holiday home's address and then you'll receive a key that should work.

    How does the BF4 pre-order work through amazon? Do you get a key straight away in which you can plug into Origin to have it shown on your Origin account?
    Or is it a code that they will just give you once the game is released??

        Yeah all the EA stuff (keys) I have bought through Amazon could be redeemed and downloaded straight through Origin, no need for any Amazon downloads.

    Another good deal is Mass Effect Trilogy for $16.99 with the "Gooncave" code. I haven't seen it for that price outside of Gamefly deals which aren't available to us in Aus.

      is the fee coming from Amazon or from your bank?
      I don't ever remember a fee from them before but not really any way to avoid a conversion fee somewhere.

          hmm I don't know where or if it was amazon but I remember there being an option on some website to request the payment in Aud. again not sure if thie was an amazon thing or if it is if they add on a fee as well but take a look next time before confirming payment.

          Other than that not really any way to avoid currency conversion fees as far as I know.
          Even opening a USA account and moving money from one to another incurs a fee somewhere along the line.

          Wonder if it actually costs the bank something to convert funds I mean it's all pretty much digital currency these days I don't really see them shifting various currencies around to different banks.

    Doesn't let me buy Tomb Raider. Says "Game Downloads are only available to US customers". What da hells!
    EDIT: Ignore me. Updated my address to be in the US, purchased then activated on steam using the product key. Woo!
