My boy got one at 2 and was off and away within minutes. Don't underestimate how quick they can use these things they are awesome for the little ones.

After using a balance bike for almost 18 months (just past 3 & 1/2) it took my daughter literally 5 minutes to ride a bike with pedals. She just needs to learn about brakes before she breaks something.

I cannot recommend a balance bike more highly. For older kids, I suggest removing the pedals rather than using training wheels.

  • My friends has wooden ones and the did not last very long with the abuse their kids gave them. We got a steel framed one for about $100 and man that thing got hammered and is perfect condition. It's ready for Kid number 2 and will still be going strong when he moves up.

That said $37 delivered is pretty bloomin fabulous I gotta say. Still our steel one has been left in full sun and rain many times…

    • My friends has wooden ones and the did not last very long with the abuse their kids gave them.

Our wooden one was in almost new condition after 18 months and was used 2-3 times a week. I'm curious as to what sort of abuse the kids gave the bike.

Still our steel one has been left in full sun and rain many times.

I'm surprised the bike hasn't rusted.

  • wish they bought back the plasma cars

  • Thanks OP was going to get the mocka one hope this one is ok

  • thanx op :)

  • finished,,,,But having said that, why don't people buy a normal bike & take off the pedals & cranks?

  • Received my bike today so easy to put together- you only need to do the 2 wheels and handle bars. it has a handle to help support them maintain balance at the start my 2 year old is already cruising around! Thanks again OP!
