  Don't know if anyone else is interested in LED lighting but I've filled my house with these -

  In my opinion they are very good, they put out slightly less light than my old CFL ones but are very white and have quite a nice look. The body feels to me like an aluminum heat sink while the top is plastic.
  I don't have a lumen meter or a way to check the wattage but hopefully they'll slightly reduce my electricity usage.

  I've currently got 20 or so in my house and they are good enough for basically anywhere although they may not be good enough for large bathrooms where the ladies need a lot of light (thinking about putting white led strips in around our bathroom mirror for the wife).

    A couple things to consider regarding these Chinese bulbs - they most likely do not meet the Australian standard for such a device and if it burns down your house, insurance may not cover it if they work out the cause. There's a few videos out there of cheap led bulbs melting etc, would link but using the phone and it's a pita.

    This is a good price. I use one of these for my tv/media centre at home. So much easier than having to constantly lean forward and use the mouse when I can just lay back on my couch and surf the net with very little movement! :)
