OW lowered its price to match JB so it doesn't have to pay out the extra 5%. Expect price to increase once JB's special is finished.

It's been around that price before http://www.ozbargain.com.au/search/node/C920 but it is an awesome USB webcam.
Bought one last year for less than $80 price matched at OW. Built-in compression allows me to use an old P4 with Skype for very clear high quality video.

+1 I recently bought this camera (upgraded from a pro9000) and a regular comment is how clear the video is…

      • I have a pro9000 also, just wondering if it is worth upgrading. In your opionion, is it a massive upgrade from the 9000 or only a little? I can't remember the exact specs of the 9000 but it isn't too shabby in the clarity department.

        • Well, I've not seen it from the "other end", so it's hard to say whether the video on the receiver's end is better. On my end, the most noticeable thing is that the low-light performance is somewhat better. However, I haven't seen some dramatic difference in image quality in general use.

I believe the C920 has hardware encoding on the camera itself, leading to better performance on slower computers. Therefore, unless you have a problem like that, I don't think it's worth upgrading from the pro9000. The reason I upgraded was because my pro9000 hardware failed.
