      If you signed upto the ozb deals earlier this year for the cards, they never arrive until your first stay..

      I sure wish best western started doing some good deals. I stay with them every week.

        Found it. I did sign up to the ozb card deal earlier this year. Stayed in the Cairns Reef Casino hotel in May. Used the the previous 50% deal and got upgraded as part of the platinum card. My suggestion is to book the room type with the biggest gap to the next room type. I think I paid $180 pn for a $320pn room.

    I was deciding between the Sofitel or the Pullman today and booked the Sofitel for Sunday night.
    Now the Pullman is half price.

    Do you know if I can cancel my Sofitel and get my money back?

    Looking at booking novotel Canberra and it is letting me use my points to book!!! In my experience I have only been able to so this on full price rooms. So with 1 voucher I get a room for $18- cheapppp!!

      These usually have 40-50% off sales 3-4 times a year. I have booked rooms for December at 50% off in previous sales.

    Was wondering if anyone can help me out, I'm looking to book for a party of 8, hotel I am looking at allows 2 kids and adults on 2 queen beds. we have 3 adults and 1 kid in each room. what i was wondering is how vigilant are they at check-in in checking the kids age etc. or should I just book 2 adults 1 kid and later on at night just have the other 2 adults go up…price is the same btw…but would they refuse to let me stay?

      If u went up seperately then I cant see how they would find out. I have not known novotel staff to be very vigilant.

    I am looking at a place to stay in the Hunter Valley next week and these "50%" off sales are a joke. I mean the biggest discount place was STILL more expensive than booking it through hotels.com
