I know they are not the newest on the market but i still think it is a pretty good price for someone who wants/needs one and can't afford a XL or 3DS. I have seen them today and there have been around 20 of them.

New screens have a different resolution and slight issues.
3DS generally plays them with less battery life too.In my opinion, DS games are best played on DS hardware at their native resolution (but they are playable on 3DS hardware).

Most stores are most likely sold out as this model was cleared out several months go. I would recommend ringing before heading in as stock should be rather scarce.
