  • Have the $50 vouchers been sent yet?

    • Hi kearnsy,

$50 vouchers have been sent since mid-end of June. Do you need help over there?

      Regards

      • I got an email from asking for registered email address back on the 20/06, which I replied to but did not receive the voucher.

Not too stressed about it, probably would have just applied it to my order for last week!

        • Please PM me your ticket id, order number and username - i will check it out for ya and add you in.

          Regards
          SE

  • for someone interested in the new microserver,
it uses Intel G1610T CPU, has two network port, two USB 3.0 port in the back, but only one PCIE 16 slot, currently HP US sells it at $449,

    • it looks like it doesn't have as many spaces for HDDs as the N40L/N54L, Am I wrong?

      • it support 4 internal harddisk, and support bootup from 3TB harddisk,

  • How do you get the $50 voucher? I will definitely buy one of these if I can get the voucher.

  • I've tried adding the items to cart and it automatically takes $50 off. Seems like a good deal to me.

    • Doesn't do that for me. Is there anything special to do? Just says the Special Coupon code is not valid.

    • +1

Yes, sale comprises of 2 groups - Group A: the NAS & Servers, Group B: Power Options & Hard Drives. If you purchase something from Group A & B you get a further discount of either $50 or $100 depending on the combo offered. See event page for more details.

The $50 Voucher from EOFY was an "extra" bonus that can be used for the whole of our Tax Return Promo (eg. today's NAS Event). Tax Return Promo comprises of 7 events in 14 days - with each event lasting 2 days.

    Receive or recieve?

They way I look at it - it's not really good deal. N40L had been $199 when on special. Using $50 voucher and only $5 cheaper then when on special is not really good way of spending the coupon.

I spent my $50 coupon yesterday to buy Targus IQ Legend backpack for $49.95 - which means I am getting for free and only pay shipping. JB Hifi still selling this backpack for $79. Chepest on staticice is $44.

    • lol I did similar to you and got the Targus 17 inch Travel Laptop Roller TCG717U

      RRP $179.95 paid $89.95 - $50 coupon + $9.85 delivery so all up paid $49.80

price has changed to $116.50 which is about the price that staticice is showing from 5 other retailers

      • was going to buy that one… but to spend $50 when I got $50 coupon - I won't forgive myself seeing I don't actually need one lol. :)

    • yeah megabuy has them for the same price once shipping is taken into account:
      http://www.megabuy.com.au/hp-712969-375-proliant-n54l-micros…
      (aussie seller)
the UPS are a decent price i guess, if you wanted one of those it works out as an OK deal…

    • You are right, the saving is around $5-$10 for N40L and N54L compare to previous sales. Not a great deal if thinking about a $50 voucher.
So Rep, could you reduce a bit more on shipping cost? I added N54L and a UPS powerboard to cart and the shipping is $17.55 to Melbourne. Any chance to make a $10 shipping?

  • So tell me how to buy a N40L for $195 - I don't have a voucher, do I have to buy a HDD first? I don't mind ordering a 3tb drive to go with it, what would be the total cost?

    • you can't. The $50 voucher is only for some people who bought special items last month during their EOFY campaign.

Although, the coupon code "TAX_Back" is generic, it is directly linked to your user login details - and smart enough to apply the coupon code if you met the criteria.

    • I have one N40L that I bought late last month, I haven't use it. PM is you are interested.

      • PM sent.

  • HEY SHOPPINGEXPRESS can you match this…

    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/835055-REG/Hitachi_0S0…

    I need two of those and a N54L :S

    • Hi wisc,

Unfortunately not. It would be way under cost to match that price.

      Regards
      SE

      • OK thanks for checking, note its the slower spinning 5400 RPM drive not the faster 7200…

  • Can we use the voucher on the new HP Microserver?

  • -1

Does anybody have a voucher that they're not going to use? I'd most appreciate it.

    • LOL… yeah good luck with that! Id love one too, i'd love one of these microservers at that price. though i think they are account locked.

  • Can the 50 dollar tax break voucher be used on any internal hardrive?

    • Are there any 2.5 inch Hard Drives we can use the $50 voucher on?

  • -1

    LOL, 7000VA on the
    Eaton Standby Powerboard UPS 420W 7000VA 230V 3S700AU

    http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/eaton-standby-powerboa…

can I get really angry and demand my money back when it arrives and i find its only 700? (NOT 7000!)

Given the prices without the voucher are N40L $245 and N54L $269 - then I'm not sure this constitutes a bargain.

Maybe this is better discussed in forum.

This is not a deal for the general public - only for those whom have purchased from Shopping Express.

    • yeah as stated above, same price at mega buy, however its OK if you want the UPS as well i guess - though not as good as there last deals :(

come on shoppingexpress you can do better i know you can! :D

  • Have been waiting for Shopping Express' N54L deals to come back around but feeling a bit underwhelmed. Any chance for the WD Red's to be included in the hard drive deal?

    • -2

The prices are not looking as pretty due to the cost of these have gone up as mentioned many times in several post. This is a deal and it will be more apparent in the following weeks.

      Regards
      SE

      • I seems my post was taken as a winge, I do appreciate the SE deals on N54L and just disappointed I missed out the previous prices.

  • .

  • I was saving my coupon for something good but I can't see anything in this last round I want. Any chance you can bring back all the items from previous days for the final day?

    • I missed this deal last week.
Have been receiving 3 spam e-mails a day from ShoppingExpress, but somehow the one I've been waiting for (and putting up with the emails for) didn't ever get to me. So I feel pretty annoyed having purchased something to get $50 off an N54L, getting all this spam, and now it's run out… I guess it's not the end of the world…
