ICEBREAKER Men's Boulder LS Hood Jacket. $149 down from $299. Melbourne Outlet Store

50

Wifey bought me this jacket from Melbourne's Icebreaker outlet store. She was told that they received an oversupply of these jackets so they're trying to unload them fast as. They also have other stuff heavily discounted.

The jacket itself is the 2012 model and my wifey was told by staff that it's similar to the current one. It's rated at 380, Icebreaker's highest insulation layer rating.

Since this is a outdated model I've provided a link to its reviews: http://reviews.icebreaker.com/9011/IBK894/reviews.htm

They can deliver for an extra $5.

  • What's the fit and feel like?

    Is it actually warm?

    Where is the Melbourne outlet?

    • Smith Street

For me I find it a light weight Marino jacket, however, very warm. Let's say it's warm enough for Canberra's current night time temperature (feels like -ve something without it). Should be great for when the Brumbies play in the finals!

  • Melbourne- what a concept.

Any way to order online for those of us not in Melb?

    • My wifey just called, asked what they had in way of…, researched on the internet, called them again & had them delivered (we're in Canberra). They said she could return them if didn't fit, etc. Which she will as hers is too big. Of course this would be easier for my wifey if they had a website but for me it was a piece of cake as she did the work & I reaped the rewards:)

      • Conveniently I can also rely on Wifey to do a ring around for me… :)

  • If you want to order online (or by phone) I think these are the right details:

Maybe - but first, what is a wifey?

There seems to be numerous of them on OzB.

Are they necessary to connect your hoody to the internet?

No wonder they had to halve the price. What a waste of money spending $300 on a jacket. Get a life.
