4x Ultrafire AAA Rechargeable $2.48 Tmart

154

For those looking for cheap AAA rechargeables.

Not "Eneloops" or even Hobby King "Turnigy" but $0.62 each (delivered) pretty cheap.

Also have a cheap ($6.58) wireless mouse

If you can get the total up to $20 then you should be able to get $5 off over $20 spend too -

Still looks like a good deal and i'm looking for batteries. Thanks

    • Oh scratch that…
When I signed up and went through the order process (rather than just clicking on pay with Paypal) it only charged AUD 2.48 and then I used altomic's code and got 12 more cents off :)
      cheers

    US warehouse $2.37

    • Missed. Found out after order is placed. USD price shipped from US is 2.13. Then can apply either 5 off coupon or 5% coupon. Good Deal. Thanks OP.

  • Good price, thanks.

Bonus points for "Checkout with PayPal" - it took me 20 sec to order and pay - AWESOME!

  • I hope none of you forget to report report back in this thread about your remarkable new '1500' mAh capacity AAA batteries.
    We await - breathless….

  • 1500mah is seriously questionable.

if 2 out of 4 is faulty, it will effectively pull up the price to $1.24 each?

    • I don't think 1500mah is questionable, it is more likely just plain wrong.
1500mah total for the 4 batteries = 375mah each would probably be closer.

Still, they are cheap and depending on what you want to use it for could be useful for some.

Any idea about the quality? I hope they are not going to put my device on Fire (as the name suggests) :)

  • Thanks OP. Got 4 lots (16 batteries in total) for $9 delivered :)

  • Great username. I had no idea until I googled it :)

  • Thanks OP bought 16 of them, great price can't resist :)

Reports of Ultrafire stated capacity being fake and battery failures (note not the exact battery listed by OP):

    • Most of the 26 reviews on Tmart are positive, though Tmart could always delete reviews that say they are selling absolute crap from their own web site.

One review says 2 of 4 batteries didnt work:
      http://www.tmart.com/previews/4Pcs-UltraFire-AAA-1.2V-1500mA…

One says they are fake and the real capacity is 1400 not 1500:
      http://www.tmart.com/previews/4Pcs-UltraFire-AAA-1.2V-1500mA…

I would have thought 1400mah would still be optimistic, and you would be pretty happy with that. It is probably much lower.

      Otherwise positive reviews.

      • I have a really nice bridge in Sydney I'm looking to sell. One owner. Only driven across on Sundays. Interested?

        • WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY A BRIDGE FROM THIS MAN!!!

Claims 100,000 cars/hour capacity but I am struggling to get 20,000.

        • Referenced to smallish (AAA battery-powered) vehicles, the capacity is in fact EVEN HIGHER.
You are an unworthy 'potential' buyer. GO TO YOUR ROOM!!!

WARNING!!! Was about to buy these, but read the reviews from NLee the Engineer on Amazon (the go to guy for batteries and chargers reviews):

    http://www.amazon.com/4Pcs-1500mAh-Ni-MH-Rechargeable-Batter…

    http://www.amazon.com/1-2V-3500mah-Ni-MH-Rechareable-Battery…

Highly questionable quality, and pretty much no reasonable recourse with Tmart. YMMV, they might have improved, but unlikely to the stated capacity.

Ultrafire are notorious for getting any old used battery, wrapping it in their cover and selling it. It's fraud. Same thing has happened with their 18650 batteries which may have very well actually killed people or at the least caused significant fires. 1500mah is also a flat out lie.

No doubt they chose a suitable name to reflect the end result after charging.

Lots of neg comments on these, has anyone tested in a MAHA or something? Sounds like its worth saving your money to buy something reputable.

After getting 8 of these, giving them a full charge then a refresh cycle - my La Crosse charger is reporting that not one of them can manage more than 500-600mAh of charge at best :-( Useless, even for a AAA let alone AA, and a rip-off even at that price.

Tmart Rep, if you're listening, fraudulent mis-labelling is illegal under Aussie law, and carrying counterfeit products will be devastating to your reputation. You lost this customer.

Offtopic, at least a bit. Anyone knows a good n cheap charger which shows mah?

    • It's science fiction crazytalk that you should even want such a device. You should just trust what's printed on the side of the battery like the rest of us.

I just bought some Aldi AAA 850mAh "long life" rechargables, 4 pack, this morning for $6.99.
Not a bargain but it will be interesting to measure their capacity on the charger.

  • Says "This product has been discontinued!" which I guess is their way of saying it's sold out?

  • revoked +. I have received but La Crosse charger is reporting 200mah and two of them null. I have created a ticket with tmart for full refund.

  • I also revoked my +. I bought 4 packs of 4 AAA batteries and tested each battery on a La Crosse BC-700. The capacities varied from 189 mAh (worst) to 256 mAh (best). Given these results, even the best battery only has a capacity of about 17% of the stated capacity of 1500 mAh. I have since contacted Tmart for a refund.

For anyone considering purchasing these batteries, I would strongly advise against it and instead look at purchasing reputable batteries (such as Sanyo eneloop or GP Recyko)

  • these batteries are rubbish bought 8 and wont even charge in maha 9000 says {high] wasted my money you loser .

    • Log a ticket with Tmart and ask for a refund as Tmart provided me with a full refund.
