Free 1TB Cloud Storage Promotion at Shared.com for 6 Months

30

First time poster, posting yet another online cloud storage promotion, this time from Shared.com. No idea how long this will last. TechCrunch is running a promo that bumps the existing 100GB free storage to 1TB for 6 months. From TechCrunch:

Share Media is a four-person, bootstrapped company that aims to take on Kim Dotcom. Their service, basically a way to drag and drop files and instantly share them with others, offers 100GB free with a file size limit of 2GB. As of this writing Kim Dotcom’s Mega has an upward limit of 50GB of storage and competitors are essentially in the same range.

  • What happens after 6 months?

    Either

    • You loose all your Data (Sensitive data if your stupid enough to upload it)
    • You pay a high subscription fee
    • They extend the trial period (not gonna happen)
    • Not sure what happens after the promo to the files that're over 100GB. Regardless, the default free account with 100GB and 2GB max file size is bigger than most current offers.

  • +6

It would take you 6 months to upload 1 Tb in Australia.

    • correct, normally you can only upload 7G per day max, so…..

  • TechCrunch has already killed the site…

  • "Your promotional Pro account will expire in 6 months and revert back to the free plan."

  • worked for me just now

  • Worked for me too - 1TB. How come this is showing as expired?
