  • Can you confirm that both the Note2's are LTE compatible? Specs on Gray page doesn't include LTE compatibility under Network Support list.

    • It require latest software upgrade to support LTE.

      • +2

Well it either has the LTE radio's or it doesn't. GSM Arena appears to indicate that all N7105 have the following radios:
        3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 2100 - N7105
        4G Network LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2600 - N7105

        • +1

Sooo that means it does based on ur comment?

Its listed as the Vodafone unlocked version
          See - http://shop.vodafone.com.au/mobile-specs/buy-samsung-galaxy-… under Q&A

        • Hardware is LTE/4G capable, just need simple software upgrade to enable the 4G.

        • +1

I wouldn't rely on Vodafone releasing timely software updates. Do yourself a massive favour and load another region's firmware with Odin for more timely/reliable updates.

You can do this without rooting the phone and voiding the warranty.

        • +2

Vodafone already released the software updates to enable the LTE/4G.

        • +2

I wouldn't trust software update from Voda. I had S2 after update the battery won't hold even 1 day. And my S3 after update it reboot sometimes. So my advise is leave it as it is or otherwise update to other firmware as Cobalt mention.

        • lol, root and custom rom = LTE
          voda update = LTE

          What you on about mate?

*edit: don't even need a custom rom, just flash the new modem that came with Voda's update. Google it. It'll be on xda-developers

        • does it matter? thought this phone is unlocked/unbranded. doesnt relate to vodafone releasing anything

        • Phone is unlocked but Vodafone branded. This means software updates have to go through VF's QA which is horrendous and slow. Expect VF updates 6 months after everyone else has already released it.

        • All Vodafone note 2's are 4g enabled And if they aren't they get update as soon as u turn them on.

        • Oh really?

Htc one: two weeks before Telstra and Optus
S4: maintenance update 1 week before.

  • +6

Oh dear. Why is the price of note 2 still high? Shouldn't it be under $500 by now?

    • +2

      exchange rate drop I think

    • Phone prices dont seem to drop as quick as they once used to. They used to be nearly half their price after 9-12 months.

  • +1

    Great price for the 920!

    Rep…

    Any deals on GS4??

  • Hi Rep,
Can you do the same deal for the Nokia lumia 920 in white?

    • or black…pretty please with a Cheerio ring on top!

  • +1

I bought the 8x, the battery doesn't last long.

    • +3

It has to be charged on a daily basis… or it goes to low battery by day 1.5. It's pretty much like every smartphone I've owned so I'm pretty happy with it.

    • I've found the battery to be quite good in my 8X, but I am not a heavy user. I still have 68% battery left after taking it off charge yesterday at 9am.

    • +1

I brought one last sale and the battery is lucky if it last half a day.

I moved from a 3 year old Iphone 4 - for the same amount of usage would last at least a day (24 hours)

      • Yeah mate, we have to admit that the battery of the 8x is short. Just wait for the GDR2 update and hope the situation might improve.

  • no $30 off on htc one??

  • Price for Note 2 is still quite high considering every other phone is dropping in price, hmm

  • Will have to wait closer for the Note III to be released for prices to drop methinks.

  • +1

    anything on lumia 925?

  • +1

When are you guys going to get the Sony Xperia Z Ultra in stock? :-)

  • +2

    Hi Rep,

Longing for deals on GS4 :)

  • +1

    Hi Rep,

Bought the HTC 8x during your last sale.

Waiting for a deal on SG4..

    • IMO HTC One is a much better phone .. i chose HTC One over the GS4 and havent been happier :)

      • +1

But if you got the HTC One over Galaxy s4, how do you know it is a much better phone!

        • +1

He probably use to have the S3? I mean they are basically the same except the S4 is incrementally better right?

  • I got excited but no Nokia 808.

    • Don't think you will ever see the Nokia 808 from Mobileciti, as they sell Australian stock and the Nokia 808 was never officially released in Australia. Would like to see all the features reincarnate onto the Windows Phone one day.

      • isn't the Lumia 1020 the replacement for the 808?

        http://www.nokia.com/global/products/phone/lumia1020/

        • +1

The Lumia 1020 has the 41mp camera, but the sensor is smaller (1/1.2” on the Nokia 808 compared to the 1/1.5” on the Lumia 1020) to make the phone thinner and to accommodate OIS.
Compared to the 808 the Lumia 1020 does not have
          *MicroSD
          *FM Transmitter
          *HDMI output
          *Removable battery
          *USB on the go

    Waiting for GS4 deal!

    i wanna get lumia 1020!

Can we have some Android deals? theres a bigger pro Android population out there than windows phone fans

    • What about Ubuntu phones? I love Android just as much as the next person but to be honest it's more of a fear of iPhone interface. Those things are incredibly locked down and I don't just mean music. I mean trying to get photos off shouldn't be difficult.

  • IF only they had a better dual sim range. The models on offer are very limited/basic compared to overseas models. Currently using Galaxy Grand I9082L (supports 3g) and considering an upgrade. The best model on offer doesn;t come anywhere near what I currently have.

  • Hey Op, any chance of having that sale on the Samsung galaxy nexus 4, like you did a few months ago? You posted on here but I missed it.

  • +1

BB Z10 please. Can you beat Harvey Norman price pls.

    • +2

I am working on the BB Z10 deal, I been told will be confirm on next Monday or Tuesday, if deal approved price will be much less than current HN.

      • Good work :)

  • Will it be cheaper for pick up?

    • Same price for pickup?

  • Not related, but it's been 2 months now and I still haven't received my refund for the failed delivery micro SD card. I tried contacting via email but still haven't received any reply

    • Which email address did u sent? Do u have ticket id?

  • +1

    Got one htc 8x. Thanks

  • Anyone having connection issues with mobile data? My htc 8x mobile internet just stopped working. Updated the phone still no luck

    • Hi,

check APN setting with your network service provider.

      • Thanks for reply.

Am with optus, was getting reception for calls, researched quite a bit, solution was to tape the sim's back side, so that it sits properly, and it actually started working again.

  • Thanks for the free shipping code.

However, I want to complain that Mobileciti doesn't take security seriously! I registered an account as part of the check out process and the site sent me a welcome email with my login password in plain text! That's stupid!

    • Worthy feedback but sadly a lot of even bigger websites do the same thing (store passwords in plain text).
