  This makes the Sony RX100 II $719 + shipping which is a good price! Especially considering its RRP is $899. And the US price on Amazon is $748.

    Thats not such a great price. My local camera house has had it for $699 for ages, and JB right now has it in their stores for $669… sorry, but digidirect is not that cheap. They used to be, but right now they are not. Never assume the price from a discount house is the best you can do. The price they have for a D3200 body is pretty good… but no… not the RX100

      To be honest I'd probably get the younger (and fatter?) model if it's a matter of less than $100, even though to me its only 2 selling points are flip-out screen and (arguably) better flash.

      do you know if it's the version II? from digiDirect's description, it seems to be the updated version. and where is the local camera house? or is it all camera house sells it for that price?

    Best price for Sony RX100 II I got from JB-HiFi was $550 - that's their baseline price and requires you to do a bit of haggling. PLUS, in the box you get a $30 Sony Accessory Voucher (which I used to buy their filter adapter).
