Was suppose to post this up yesterday but couldn't because I'm a newly registered.

Anyways, I wandered into SCA store (in Belconnen ACT) yesterday to find out they are replacing ALL Calibre tools with ToolPro. So the old stock is cleared at dirt cheap prices. And I don't know why but SCA is being very stealthy, no advertisement or anything. I'm not sure what is happening at other states, but you might get lucky if you are in a low populated areas like mine.

There was ratchet spanners at $2 (RRP over 15)! sockets at $2! Spanners at $2 and breaker bar (cheater bar 1/2 inch 380mm long) for $5 (RRP 20).

All you do is go in there and check their tools isle to see if there was any calibre tools left, if there is, there is a high chance that they will put them out soon. They normally place old stock near the counter.

I'm not sure when this will expire, but I will probably remove this thread after 2 weeks.

    Wasn't anything special at the Sandgate NSW store. They still had Calibre tools, but no great discounts.

      Was the calibre tools sold individually there in the glass cabinet? If yes, they will clear it out soon, you should ask them.

      SCA will still have calibre tools, but in sets only. At least that is what I see here.

    Went to the MacGregor store on our way home and didn't see any calibre tools except for a set of screw driver which weren't on sale. They had the huge tool boxes for $100 but no idea if that was a sale price.

      I think they move Calibre range to be sold in sets from now on (e.g. a set of 10 spanners and 20 sockets).

      If the Calibre individual tools (normally in glorious locked up glass cabinets) are still there, good chance they will put them out front soon.

    I went to one and found the discounted bits but most of it was sold out, bought a few long sockets…

    Looks like most places have moved the sockets into a bucket or box near the front if you're looking for that. Mostly imperial only unfortunately.

    Don't waste your time at the Launceston branch overnight all gone and now replaced with Toolpro

    Nothing left in Liverpool, NSW store. All their loose sockets/spanners are Toolpro, now. Some Calibre 'sets' are left but being retailed at the regular RRP.
