Just bought one of these——buy from mariio128 all the time. COntroller is region free (works in all countries) and is heaps cheap——Eb games has it for like 60 or 70 dollars—- be quick black color has already sold out :)

no—- but the wii u gamepad does——apparently it has firmware updates so it can be seen as region locked——just though i would put it in :)

are you sure it is official——there is a third party one going for around that price and it looks similar but doesnt work as a pro controller

Link above shows a detailed comparison between a counterfeit and real controller. Use this to initially determine if it's fake. Once you've determined that it's fake, send pictures of the controller to Nintendo directly. Hopefully they'll reply back, confirming that it's a fake. Send that confirmation to Paypal as evidence and mention that you'll "destroy" the fake controller. You should then get a full refund and you'll get to keep your "destroyed" controller. Might take a little time to sort out the dispute, but I think it's worth the risk.
I tried to save a few bucks buying a bookbook case, but I ended up with about 3 fakes, "destroyed" them and got a full refund from Paypal on all of them. I eventually just bit the bullet and paid for a real one at an apple store :(
Do not expect an official controller off eBay if it doesn't say so in the description. It'll be fake for sure, even though the box looks real
