Local music store was asking for $150 on this exact ukulele before. Great price!

Wow, I've got a shop and sell these, and that price is so unbeatable! If you are really keen maybe we could do $99 delivered. Not that we would make much out of it, but if you're keen, just message me and i'll see what we can do.
    We ship fast too!

    • Good Guy Local Merchant

      • That one is Soprano size. This is a concert size uke.

      • @jason link is to the soprano, not concert

      • Sorry guys, i didn't notice it was a concert. I'm out. I can't even do $99 on those. I'd nearly be better off buying them from amazon than our importer/distributor. Crazy. Oh well. That's retail in 2013. If you want a good "experience" drop into our shop, and you'll get a lesson, and a good feeling for the extra $70!! :O
On a side note, if you are looking for a decent cheap ukulele, these are great http://threeworlds.com.au/shoppingcart/products/Makala-Conce… .
Not quite as good, but seriously they are a great beginners ukulele, and leagues ahead of the cheap and nasty ones you can get for $30-$40.
Can do free shipping for you guys. (again, just message me)

        • Jason, insterested in one of those art series ones - tried to message you but i get "jason3w does not accept new private conversations."

        • Hey Hippo,
Just changed my message settings :)
Let me know which one you are keen on, and i can set you up a ozbargain worthy deal!
          Cheers
          Jason

  • buy a cheaper ukulele because you wouldn't be able to recover the costs through busking.

  • Good uke, I have the Tenor version. Has a nice mellow tone.

  • I bought one of these from Amazon about 2 years ago for a little under $100 delivered and still pick it up nearly every day (although I am looking for an upgrade). These are an excellent entry level instrument - not one of those $50 'toys'.

  • This is a great price. How do I buy that from amazon? It seems to only ship to US. I'm not too familiar with amazon ;/

    • This ukulele ships to Australia. Just click on the link and add to cart. Sign in and check out. Easy.

  • Now you can play The Ukulele Anthem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7g5aek1BYo

  • +1, just because you've made me eager to learn the Bob's Burgers theme now!!

  • Had one of these ukuleles before, they're awesome.
Just ordered another one, oooh yeah! Came out to be like $92 aud though..

    • You should have paid in US$ using your 28 degrees credit card saved yourself a few dollars.

  • Haven't used or played an uke before.. have a guitar and learn for abit… is concert size alot bigger than the typical soprano or 'uke' you see in stores? I.e. 15 inches is concert size right?

And yeah what are the major brands that do good, quality sounding uke's? Seems alot of you like this Lanikai brand? Or is it this specific model of Lanikai?

And for all those that ordered e.g. edyahs - was $92 aud including shipping? how much did shipping add on for you to aus?

  • Received mine today. Shipping was pretty quick. Build quality is good; quite a solid instrument. Those cheap $20 ukuleles don't compare.

    • How does this compare to Cordoba or other ones liek Mahalo? Just went to a local music store to see and wasn't sure quality differences etc.

Is this one a solid top mahogany?

  • Saw that the gig bag and tuner with the lanikai ukulele package was going for $16 more :

    http://www.amazon.com/Lanikai-LU-21C-Concert-Ukulele-Polishi…

Just wondering how much a gig bag would cost seperately? Given $79 fro the package vs $63 for the above deal.

I have to go home and check, but if I have a chromatic tuner at home for guitar it will work with ukulele won't it - what notes do ukes tune to/that i need to check my guitar can tune to.

If so, and I only need a gig bag what am i looking for if it's something simple liek the linked package deal (to store it away from dust etc when not in play).

Otherwise, if my tuner at home isn't chromatic do you guys advise getting the package?
