Glad you've chosen to send them to us and not Nauru

  • Can the beans be pre-ground?
Or is it best to get the roasted whole beans and buy a grinder to grind every few days?

    • +1

It's actually best to get whole beans, and then grind only as much as you're about to use just before you use it. I grind a few day's worth for taking in to work, but for my daily morning coffee at home I grind fresh as I am about to brew. The morning coffees are the best.

speaking of coffee time, time to go make myself an aeropress coffee…

I recommend buying a grinder and grinding when needed, I use a Hario hand grinder which I purchased from Mannabeans, I grind my beans just before making a coffee it doesnt take long and is good for the arms.

I also have an Aeropress which I use a few times a day its easy to use, quick and very easy to clean, I also have a metal filter which I recommend you purchase.

I recieved my coffee from the last deal on monday after ordering last friday just had a cup an hour very nice indeed, keep up the good work Mannabeans.

    • Thanks Topfuel, great to hear from another satisfied customer. Just make sure you alternate arms, you don't want one bicep bigger than the other ;-)

Wasn't this $59.95 a couple of months ago?

    Yes it was:

    no bargain :)

    • Different coffee different price. The Colombian Tolima is a more expensive microlot coffee and also Aus Post shipping and costs have gone up since then.

      • I thought the massive drop in coffee prices worldwide would somehow be reflected in your price as well. Or is that only in the rest of the world, Europe, USA?

        • I'm not quite sure what you mean! Our green coffee pricing has stayed pretty consistent. We purchase from many coffee traders and even do direct trade with some coffee Estates in Colombia. We have over 75 different coffees from all over the world so have a pretty good understanding of coffee prices. We currently have some speciality coffees here which cost over $50 per kg for green bean and that's before shrinkage from roasting or other related costs.

Standard price for Aeropress is $50 and shipping is $9-$13
I hope this explains better why there can be a variance in price. Feel free to give me a ring if you would like any more information or to discuss further

  • Perfect timing

  • Do you sell this package with pre grinded coffee? I don't have a coffee grinder.

Or what is the cheapest price to add a coffee grinder to this pack?

  • I'd meant to buy one off these last month but forgot so I was very happy to find that the link still works :)
