  • If you are happy with this special, don't forget to like it. Thanks :)

  • Whats the shipping costs?

    • Hi,

      Regards,

This is when I do my tyre purchasing! Shame no 29er tyres though…

  • This is a nice deal…just a shame the range is not very wide.

I was about to pull the trigger on 2 x Continental GatorSkinz from Wiggle.

    • Hmmm. Where's the best place to get these? I need some new GatorSkinz for my Sub10.

If you are after a puncture protection tyre, that is fast and durable, we have the Siera Armourguard tyre: http://www.velogear.com.au/bike-parts/bike-tyres-bicycle-tub…

      • Thanks for the recommendation.

        Looks decent.

        Unfortunately I have a 28c.

Furthermore, for $3 more I can get the Continental Gatorskin Folding variant (with free shipping from UK after purchasing a couple of sundries).

However, thank you for making the effort to put a good deal on OzBargain, and for recommending a good alternative.

        • I think you forgot that this one is buy one get one free

        • You are right….I did.

          Velogear - 2 x Siera Armourguard $30 + Delivery $10.50 (Perth) Totalling $40.50.

Wiggle - 2 x Continental GatorSkinz (Folding) = $67 (Free Del as I am buying other stuff).

          Differential is $26.50.

I am happy to live with that given I know and trust Continental Gatorskinz.

Nonetheless I did give Ally props for suggesting a good alternative.

All moot given I run 28c.

  • Unfortunately very limited range, nothing in 700x35. (Rep: if I just missed it, please give a link)

  • Is the Velogear site suddenly slow or is it just me?

    • Hi,
It appears we have alot of people checking out this special today, so the website is runnign a bit slower than usual sorry.

Thanks for this rep. Just ordered.

  • Hey Rep,

Any deals on Schwalbe nobby nics?

    • Hi,
Our Schwalbe tyres can be found here: http://www.velogear.com.au/catalogsearch/advanced/result/?manufacturer[]=42

      Very low on stock sorry!

  • Some 26" Panaracers would be brilliant

  • Hi OP

I currently have Schwalbe Big Apple, 26″ × 2.0″ on my bike, what do you suggest as comparable replacements?

  • any chance of 21565R16 ?

    • We do not have access to those tyres sorry.

thanks rep. Bought the crossmark LUSTs but shipping for me was $10.50 to Perth. Is this correct?
Will be putting these on just before the Cape to Cape and after the Dwellingup 100.
    Cheers

    • Hi,

Yes that shipping sounds correct. Shipping costs are done Australia wide on our system.

      Enjoy the tyres! :)

  • Rep, If I currently have 26 x 2.10 MTB tyre am I able to fit a 26x2.3 slick tyre?

    Thanks.

    • +1

      Hi Moots,

Yes that will be fine. Just double check on your bike you will have some clearance between your current tyres and the rear forks on the back of your bike. If you have a little bit of clearance then teh 26 x 2.3's will fit perfectly!

  • Thanks for the offer Rep.
Have you got any 700X38c tyres?
or which ones can fit better(I got an old Giant-Elwood bike)
    Thanks again
    Cheers
