Thought I'd post this so everyone gets this opportunity to buy some great specials which you won't get in other Aldi at the same price. This is opening special for ALDI Basshill only. I'll put more photos of the catalogue when I get home if you're interested.

I wouldn't try it - a proper 21.5" computer monitor can be had for ~$140, and for that you'll be getting a much better picture. TV's can have image processors that don't perfectly display the correct colour for every pixel, it might be every second pixel or something like that (it's related to how digital TV signals are compressed). This will make text and fine detail look a whole lot worse up close.
Mostly true, although still doesn't beat turning your monitor into a tv.
No good for work if your in an office, getting an antenna or aerial might give it away :)

I'd try it. Aldi has a 60 day no questions asked return policy. Try it.
See ash2000 comment above, try it and return it back if it wont work, but even if it wont work, its a great bargain :)
Do you know how many stock you guys have for the TV? Don't want to drive all the way there to find that it has been sold out. Thanks
Um how does this really help. There are say 40 units, and while you might be 41st in line when u get there the rest all buy 1 each or one buys 2.
So kishors is setup as you drove all the way out there….
