I was at Harris Scarfe in Epping (in VIC) on the weekend and spotted this deal and a few other knife block deals!
At the time they had 50+ in stock, easily! I purchased 5 of them - great for xmas presents.
If dad was into cooking, I'd have bought him a knife block set.
Anyway, I thought I'd share it with you guys.

Is this a in-house brand? Not heard of Urbane Home before.. not sure if it's worth $300 to begin with.
Without certainty, it appears so. Using Lasoo it's showing Harris Scarfe as the only seller/business that has this brand on sale.
It is thier own brand, meaning the RRP can be any figure and the savings any amount. It's not worth the price by the looks/feel. I bought the circulon set for $80 or so a few weeks ago, may have less knives, but going to last longer
and sorry to burst your bubble but it's likely that it's never been sold for $300.

These normally free when you purchase a pot & pan set, at $70 they might not even worth it. I got mine for free at HS last time (better brand than urban home I think)
I'd just be careful of the brand - I had a couple of chopping boards and they managed to stuff them up (warping, etc.) which is a fair effort.

Only 1 review, but doesn't sound promising… However, maybe they just got a dodgy set.
