One end is micro usb. But what is the other end?
The connector is one used for JR style R/C servos. It would use this as it's probably targeted at people who fly/drive their RC vehicles using First Person View (FPV). It's a standard 0.1" pitch header so it will fit pins you can buy from Jaycar.
They don't provide a pinout, but it's most likely Ground (Brown), 5 Volt Power (Red) and Composite Video (Orange). The red wire may be audio instead of power, but it's hard to say.

That, and I own the older style one which has audio out. Will be good to be able to use the gopro 3 black for FPV, not having that cable was a bit of an excuse to keep using my original gopro and not risk the new 3 Black dropping out of the sky with no protection on.
Audio is great to have when using a voltage alarm. Even if you are a long ways out you can still hear the beeping in the video goggles headphones or what ever else you are using to monitor your flight.
Awesome find OP. Bought a few for my custom quad and pusher FPV platform.
You should change the title though. This is not a data cable. It's for live streaming, and particularly FPV applications due to the JR connector.
