  • Ordered !
SanDisk Ultra Class 10 Micro SD (HK Stock) .. did not realise it was HK stock, hope to get this in few days!

  • Samsung vs Sandisk. Both Class 10. 16 GB. $5 difference. Any real world difference between the two brands (Sandisk churns out an awful lot of memory cards - any chance the quality has dropped? - some of their USB sticks have been less than impressive)?

    • Add to the $5 and get more memory.

Sandisk admitted to a mess up recently on production, but that's for the 32gb/64gb models. Get the cheaper one.

  • Hi guys, sorry about the completely clueless question, but does the MicroSD adapter in the picture come with the card? And does this allow the micro-SD card to be used in a camera that only takes normal sized SD cards?

    • Unsure about the adapter. I have used a sandisk micro sd in a canon p&s with adapter and it worked fine for a while, sufficient write speed etc for 1080p, however, one day it just said no and couldn't bee seen by the camera. Card still fine. So yes you can but have a backup as it can just stop being seen. A reformat would probably work but you usually don't want to do that mid way through shooting.

prices are not that impressive. MSY is close for the Samsung Plus 16gig.

  • Wonder how much people went to their local OW to save $2.80 on a 64gb sandisk…

  • Where's the ipad keyboard?

unbranded 32GB TF regularly goes for approx. $10 on international ebay auctions with free shipping to Aus.

    • regularly drops your data aswell

    • I used to buy "unbranded" USB sticks / SD cards / Micro SD Cards, but they did not last long…

So, better stick to the brand names …
