There were around 15 cartons left situated near the front register and one carton on the shelf in the drinks area which first caught my eye. Knowing NQR I would expect that this would be available at other stores; worth a call before going however. Berry Ice was the only flavour available, all with a best before of 22nd Sept 2013. Sorry I didn't take a pic of the display in store as I'd left my phone at home!?

Are restaurants still required to provide free water on request? Better option IMO. I'm only near my neighbours water supply about an hour a day… :)
I think that whether they're obliged to or not, restaurants give free water because if they didn't then they would have some customers that would never come back.
I have a friend that gets shitty if they don't refill his water quickly when he dines.
Not customers - people off the streets. Pretty sure there's a law/code that says that when requested, any food premises must provide free water.

For the pre-made drink in the bottles, this is definitely a bargain. I think the powder version is probably better value though.

Don't believe you can get a powdered version of the Powerade Zero.
Mostly because theres no actual bulk to a product which avoids sugar.
No you cannot get the sugar free version of any of these things in a powdered form in AU but there is such a thing. In the US you can buy Gatorade's Gatorlytes which is powdered but I don't believe it's available here; obviously can be bought from eBay and the likes but I mean at supermarkets etc.
In addition Nuun is a good electrolyte product I use regularly, have bought it from iHerb as they were cheapest after VIP discounts etc when I last purchased, am a half marathon/marathon runner hence often find hydration an issue.
