Up to 75% OFF Reduced/Clearance Clothing @ TARGET - MENS, WOMENS AND KIDS

70

Target have dropped the price of clearance/runout clothing for the whole family by up to 75%.

Most of the stock is clearance of ex-winter stock, but there are some summer styles too - eg. the big mens shirt I have linked to.

Online and instore. Remember free click and collect for online orders.

My local (Carlingford NSW) had a heap of great bargains on big mens polo shirts and jumpers/jackets + kids pants and tops.

The shirt I have linked to was originally $45, then reduced to $20 as it has been replaced by a new style. $14 during the further 30% off click frenzy a couple of weeks ago and now only $7.

If you are shopping in store your local Target may have a lot of stock or none.

I thought you meant a further 75% of the reduced prices because of the wording. Prices are the same as they were when I looked after the last few Target posts.

    • Max maybe the items you are looking at aren't on clearance.

The clearance clothing is 75% off as a minimum the original price. But this shirt for instance is 38/45 off which is about 80% roughly and 50% off the previous cheapest price of $14.

Their signs say 75% off clearance merchandise.

Honestly have a look, you'll find some good deals…

      • The signs I saw yesterday said up to 75% off

I regularly check the clearance section of the website and in the last few weeks almost daily. I can't speak for 'big mens' as despite my user name I am female, but I can say the clearance items in the kids, womens and home sections have not changed in price since they were put onto clearance. I haven't been in store for about a week but clearance prices online are always the same as in store (even if in store items haven't been marked yet) so it does sound like a case of new/different signage. I'm not saying there aren't any bargains to be had and your post may still help people that haven't realised these items have been moved to clearance, I'm just saying there aren't any new ones since the last few Target posts, unless you're a 'big man' which I know nothing about.

  • Saw little kiddies flannelette PJ sets in cute prints down to $3 in my local Tar-jay few days back.

I visited Target on Thursday (when I posted this deal http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/114848 ) and again on Friday after they had put up the "Up to 75% off" signs - however the prices on the clearance clothes was exactly the same. There was a better deal a week or two ago when they had "20% off the already discounted clearance price", because all they have done this time is change the signs and not the actual prices.

    • This shirt was $14 on Thursday (bought one) - $7 today…

All the big mens clearance items and the kids clearance stuff I looked at today were cheaper today than they were Wed/Thu.

Didnt go on Friday so don't know what the prices were then. Maybe try again tomorrow if Target is close?

Went to Target again different stores, different days - prices all exactly the same around here, just new signs up.

  • "75% off as a minimum the original price" is I believe not true in all cases.

    Example 1:

    http://shop.target.com.au/p/men-s-limited-editions-egyptian-…

This shirt would have had an original price of $120 to now be 75% off at $30. I have never ever seen any Target shirt above $100.

    Example 2:

    http://shop.target.com.au/p/men-s-limited-editions-egyptian-…

This shirt is and has always been from memory $49 in store, so $20 is only 59% off full price.

Target, feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Having said that, yes there are definitely some bargains.

  • $7 for a polo is good - target clothes last a long time. Got three!
Not many big men sizes left.

75% off is quite usual on Target clearance. So nothing special.
Last week picked up 4 different $39 shirts I ordered for collection for $7ea.
Now at 75% off its dearer at $10ea. That's a 40% increase in price!

And of those 4, 1 was so much smaller I had to take it back.
Not the first time label was different to actual size at Target.
