Wow this is a good deal. Though I won't be buying it though since I already got 2 Panasonic DVD recorders……costed me a few hundred each. Damn….

Analogue tuner only - therefore stay away from this one

I live in flats with only analogue available BTW. It may be a good deal for an analogue DVD-R? (I don't know.)

bank deposit an option on this website?

      No.

You must actually physically show up to an ALDI store.

ive used 2 aldi dvd recorders,
-the 1st one played up on me and is struggling,
so we bought another one from aldi and then it died within the 12months of buying it and i lost everything on it. when we wanted it to be repaired, we were told that we had to pay for shipping to them and shipping back to ourselves, but when we told that to the store manager where we had bought it from, he said it was rubbish and gave us our money back.

but after that experience, i have decided that i wud rather spend a few hundred more and buy an expensive Sony DVD recorder from Myers instead and hope that it will be more reliable.

hopefully if u buy one of these it doesnt break on u ;)

Out of curiousity, if it's just a DVD recorder, how did you lose everything on it? Surely the DVD's it burns can be played back on a normal DVD player?

I can understand if it was DVR with an inbuilt hard drive that could lose stuff, but for this kind of player, with just a DVD burner…

mine died exactly around 12 months after purchase…so good for a year if that's all you need it for…

I've actually got this DVD Recorder from about 3 months ago.

    It works fine, so far.

    • THERE IS NO IN-BUILT HARD DISK AND YOU CANNOT ATTACH ONE! *

You always need to use Blank DVD-R and CDRW's ONLY.

It cost $99 about 3 months ago when I bought it from ALDI Point Clare (NSW Central Coast), and is still $99. So, no real bargain here.

There should be a Rudd deal from ALDI.
    Buy 10 for $900.
