Official Lifeproof site shows no distinction between iPad 2/3/4 cases so I assume one listed will fit latest iPad 4. Similarly iPhone 4 case should fit iPhone 4S.

    It is not technology proof. Once my ipad turns 3y/o the resell value is lower than the case and never know Apple will come up with a new model doesn't fit into this case.
