They +30% on everything then give you 30% off… no deal.

Really? I've always though they were pretty competitive on 360 games.

      • +6

They used to be very well priced, but less so recently, but you should always compare prices.

      That's still 9% off

  • Was going to post this but you beat me to it by 20 minutes

    • just beaten :/

I always find their sorting/searching method hard to deal with when they do this. Should be able to use the normal subcategories while still only showing the products that get the discount.

Code works on 365games too, so check pricing there, as it is often cheaper ;)

  • i find them more competitive now with the weaker aud.

One moment I got too excited but after checking the list of PS3 games then….mehhh

    • Yeah, i thought I was going to get Metro Last Light and Starcraft HOTS at a great price. noooopeeee.

  • Oztralians shouldn't buy playstation network cards from Ozgameshop, as they do not work here even though the UK/EU games do. This is not made clear on their website.

    • Do you mean to say that they don't work to add funds to australian acounts, but you can create a UK account and purchase your content from there (for less)?

This is my understanding of how it works, happy to be corrected.

      • You could probably create a UK account and use it there, but if you have an Australian account, you can't use their cards to top it up. I bought a $60 card from them, which is useless to me as I already have a psn plus Australian account. They refuse to refund my money. I'm just urging caution when you buy from them. They are not an OZ shop, despite the Oz in their name.

        • How is it useless? Create a UK account, buy what you want, install. At least on the PS3 (I don't have/know about Vita) it makes no difference where you installed it from, it is available to all.

        • Vita can only have one account on it at a time. Although I think you can swap accounts if you swap memory cards?

        • From what I can see, there is no benefit in having a UK account when you already have an Australian one, as they get the same deals we do on PSN PLUS. My Australian PSN PLUS account still has 10 months to go. If I create a UK account and take out a subscription to it when my Australian PSN PLUS account runs out, I probably lose all the PSN PLUS games, etc, I've downloaded. Agree? It is therefore useless to me.

This has nothing to do with Plus. I've have used this method to purchase items from the UK store because they are often not the same price as Australia. Worst case you miss out on some small discount you might have got from the 'plus' membership. Hardly even close to your description of 'useless'.

You can't have read what I wrote. I already have an Australian account. I cannot use the UK card to extend it. I cannot use the UK card. You are just trolling.

        • Once more, you can use content purchased with a UK account on your Australian account.

I will happily buy the credit off you for 1% of it's value if it is so useless to me (I also use an Australian account).

        • I cannot use the UK card to extend it. I cannot use the UK card.

you can use the card to purchase content from a UK account. You're getting confused

@robbiequinn, the helpful people here are saying to open a UK account and buy some games with it. Play them with your Aus account. It's really not that hard.

I'm sorry if you think I'm being obtuse. I have a psn plus membership so that I can download the free games and continue to play them for as long as I have a psn plus membership. My psn plus membership goes for another 10 months, and I bought the card from ozgameshop to extend my membership for one year. The games I have downloaded with my Australian account will not work once my Australian membership expires. Am I wrong?

        • a PSN card can be used to download games that aren't free.

Prior to buying the card off ozgameshop you should have known that a UK card would not work on an AUS account

I bought the card from ozgameshop to extend my membership for one year

          you can't

I added a couple of games and then upon checking ozgamegoat, EB was cheaper… even after the 30% off…

Only thing I could find that I'd consider is DmC 360 for $23.80.. saving $1.20 from MightyApe which is cheapest on OGG.

  • Meh
