        i don't understand why anyone would buy a headphone stand. it seems somewhat pointless.

          Well headphones can go up to hundreds of dollars so getting a $13 stand instead of leaving it lying around isn't unreasonable.

          Ah OK…. Well I bought both. That's actually a really good price for what it is, and I've been waiting for something good to come along for a good while now.

          The reason someone would buy a headphone stand is so that the headphones don't end up lying around. So its part looking after the headphones (some people have very expensive headphones) and part making your listening area look neat.

          Anyway each to their own.

    I have two of these headphone stands. They are very sturdy and attractive.

    Despite what people say these are a steal if you want to store your more expensive headphones neatly on a stand than just leaving them on the desk or in a drawer.

    I was thinking of getting another one and then this deal came along, thanks!

    Cool OP thanks I was looking for something like this but didn't know what to get this works fine sadly will cost almost as much as my Ath-400's $5 less then them actually haha oh well beats the sweat stains on the lcd though I suppose. now if only I actually had some desk space for this… also ha they are the fulfillment for amazon and selling the zirc one for $20 without free or prime shipping.

    Oooh which will be perfect for my AD700? Anyone reckon they would be ok on the zirconia?

      the width of the Zirconia headband groove is 4.8cm so check the width of your ad700.
      one review on the website says they're ATH-AD300 don't sit well on it so if the AD700 has the same design then maybe it won't sit well. I have no clue what not Sitting well means though they don't go into it.

    You can get the Peridot readily off ebay. I think it is a few dollars more expensive (can't remember what I paid for it) but the bonus is you don't get the fugly brainwavz logo over it. Dont search for Peridot, you have to sarch for something more generic like headphone stand acrylic or something.

    IMHO much much much better without the darn logo.
