    Weber have preset RRPs similar to Apple etc. Best to go to a proper Weber Specialist anyway (Barbecues Galore are not a specialist Weber dealer) as only the Specialist stores are able to stock & sell the 'special' models. For the small amount extra the 'special' models are usually far better but of course it depends on what the individual needs.

    I can't recommend Weber BBQs more though… they are stupidly expensive when compared to some others BUT they're built like tanks, perform flawlessly, last for many many years and if you ever have any problems Weber will bend over backwards to assist. They even helped me out with free replacement parts for my Q220 when I stupidly forgot to unfold the plastic side shelves and melted them to kingdom come! Great products, great service.

      ^^ +1. He / She speaketh the truth.
      I thought Weber's were always a wank BS marketing brand that were no better than your Bunnings 4 burner BBQ, that is, until I bought one.
      They use BUGGER all gas, and cook everything PERFECT. I've never cooked such good tuna / salmon steaks, chook and beef as I have on my Q200.
      Just spend the little extra and buy one. (I'm a tightarse / OzBargainer) but it's definitely worth the $.

  They're not on sale, but does anyone have thoughts on their portable Ziegler models? I went in over the weekend and they were pushing those as better value for money than Weber…(not a slight on Weber, just that it's better value).

  I would advise people to spend the extra money, when it comes to a Weber, you will be glad you bought it. Hickory smoked, honey glazed, pineapple ham at Christmas time is an absolute winner in the Weber!!!!

  I cook the same in a non-Weber BBQ and it's also fine. Do you serve yours with a plate of placebo?
