Brentsbits - iPhone 4/4S to Lightning Adapter - $1.75 Inc Shipping - Save 30%

50

Hi folks, here's the next deal from me. A 30 pin (iPhone 4S and before) to 8 pin (iPhone 5/Lightning) adapter.

The adapter is a generic one, not apple branded, couldn't figure out how to put it in the title without it being a really clunky description. If someone has a suggestion, I'm all ears.

Anyway, they are for $1.75 each including shipping. A great deal and these have been selling like hotcakes.

If you have any questions just post them here and I'll answer as best I can. If I've missed any details (I didn't get much sleep last night) let me know and I'll fill them in.

Have a great weekend.

Cheers,

Brent

Support for analog audio output, USB audio

i'll admit i'm not very up-to-date with the 30-pin-to-8-pin-converter news but last i heard audio output is not supported. Can yours guarantee audio output?

    • Whoops, my bad, I thought I had fixed that. This does NOT support audio output. I will fix that immediately.

EDIT: It's fixed now. Sorry about that.

  • non OEM?

    • Yes, I thought I was clear about that, these are NOT Apple branded.

The adapter is a generic one

        Is 'generic' a good brand?

    • Oh i knew that, just suggesting how you could work it into the title.

      • There's only so much room in the title, so I spelled it out in the description

first time shopper with this site, ordered 3x lighting cables…

So far only 1/5 cables I've bought online is still working (after 10ish months)

    Let's see how this goes.

    • Thanks for buying, I'll get them posted over the weekend for you.

      • got my package delivered today, that was really quick.

all cables worked as expected, very happy with service

        • Thanks for your business, glad you were happy with your transaction.

  • I bought some adaptors from you a few months ago, or maybe another vendor (not sure, doesn't matter)

It's PAINFUL that they won't work with any form of case. This is because the Lightning plug is only just long enough to work on a bar phone.

When you next source from China, try and find some where there is a necked down section on the Lightning plug, so that it's a bit longer and will work with a case or bumper.

    I hope that makes sense.

    • It does make sense, I'll do what I can but I can't promise anything, most of the cables that fit into this price range are designed similarly but I will see what I can do.

Just be aware when buying from Brent with free shipping that it us his normal practice to under pay postage and you have to pay the excess at the post office to collect your item. Check the eBay comments. So, your $4.95 item including free postage costs another $7.25 to collect. Yes, he says he will repay you, but it's a hassle I can do without. I'm still waiting on a refund where I returned the item instead of playing this game and Brent wants to deduct the postage costs that were free. Overall, so much harder than it needed to be. Caveat emptor.

    • Your ebay username?

    • I agree. The packaging is crap (non existent) and it's never going to be 100% successful when you chuck items thicker than 5mm into a normal envelope and put 60c stamp on it

      • True. Although, I would like to know how you expect to get a cable for a dollar and expect bubble wrap packaging (that costs about a dollar for a padded envelope at officeworks) that would then require $1.80 of postage.

If it breaks in transit, all I require is a photo and I resend it, at my cost. If it breaks down within 14 days, you return it for a replacement.

Your expectations need to be somewhat realistic. If you want padded packaging, you are welcome to pay a surcharge for it and I will happily oblige.

  • message sent via eBay.

    • I'll have a look at it for you

      • what is your username though, so I can make sure your problem is attended to. Feel free to send it in a private message if you wish.
