        I haven't watched the very latest season 5 episodes (have now got the GF onto it and we are watching from the start, only midway through season 4 after 2 weeks…)

        Gonna watch the new episodes fresh with her…

        I missed that Gus was gay the first time I watched it - I always thought he was a little queer, but missed his "coming out" references - funny the things you pick up on 2nd time round…

    This has been one of my favorites, and while I obtained my episodes by 100% legal avenues, I've been hanging out for some unique box set, so don't mind paying a premium for it.

      Are these the acid barrels people are remembering or do I have to keep looking? I thought those were the methalamine barrels but what comes out of them is clear. Can't remember all the wee details, much watch again once it wraps.

      Hrm I see a post above says the acid barrels are white. Having trouble remembering those for some reason.

        Should be at least in the ep where Fring kills that person unexpectedly in the lab
        (not too spoilerish).

        Also more obviously (maybe?) when they dispose of the moto-cross bike post train heist.
        Can't remember if they were blue or white.

    Hey I love this and was tempted to get one BUT why do people buy DVDs AFTER they've watched a series. You just end up with a pile of 'junk' cluttering your house. I probably would have bought this for novelty value for $75 but just too steep atm. Already 'wasted' money on the bloody lenovo deal. I hate you OZB!!

      Same goes for movies then too though right? Like cyrax83 says, people tend to rewatch stuff - but also, the Breaking Bad blu-rays contain uncensored and extended cuts of certain episodes, plus a huge amount of extras including commentary tracks, out-takes, gag-reels, making-ofs for certain scenes and heaps more, including a 2 hour documentary in this set. Plus blu-ray is the highest possible quality you can get it in, and most people watching it as it airs won't be watching it near that level. So, yeah :) heh

      As cool as that would be, I can imagine it causing all sorts of dramas with customs around the world.

      Imagine the x-ray - the odd shaped container, an obvious bag of some sort with organic material and then the looks on their faces when they open it followed by the look of disappointment when they test it.

      there're a lotta things they coulda done but didn't, it's a bit of a shame. People had some great guesses for what the special edition packaging could be. Ah well. It did make me think…the money barrel is a kinda dry idea compared so some of the more out-there ones but I wonder…is there a chance that three more episodes from now, when all is said and done, that one of these money barrels could mean more to us than they do right now? A lotta nasty things have happened in barrels over the course of this show haha ;)

    I hate to be a stick in the mud here but I don't think the build quality of this set will be very good. It looks very similar to the expensive spindle that the Rambo Grenade box set came from, http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rambo-Complete-Collection-Special-Pa… and I won't be able to access the discs I want quickly. I think I'll opt for the more standard box set that has a bit more protection for the discs and is easier to access.

    Worth noting that the standard box set from JB is $125. ($110 cheaper than limited edition!) And this same item from Amazon is £72/$123AUD. Therefore, with a 20% off Blu-ray sale at JB, this will come down to $100. So if you don't need the barrel, apron etc. this is possibly a better option.

    Not really but putting it just in case people whinge.

    I don't often need shows to have a happy ending ;) but in this case, I hope there is a happy ending for Jesse and a really bad one for both Walt and his wife.
    But after the last ep, I'm afraid I think this show is gonna finish with Walt and Skylar being ok. Some people will be happy with that but not me with Br Ba.

    Note that it was actually taken from an animation, it's not a photo so hopefully it's accurate and you don't have to lift them out like a spindle and then sift through them which would SUCK big time.
