Boost Sony Xperia E Pre-Paid Smartphone Black/White $88

60

Just saw this prepaid for $88 I would assume it is locked and not sure how to unlock.

Also found cash back offer http://apps.boost.com.au/apps1/cashback/cashback.aspx Cashback not applicable

Not as good spec as the Huawei Y300 for $99 but it is Sony :p

  • 11 dollars cheaper than jb hi fi.

I assume this is not locked not too sure does not show anything on the website.

  • I found this information from boost site.

    Terms and Conditions

*Handsets are locked to the Telstra network. Network unlocking fees apply. Available while stocks last. Limit 1 handset per customer and no trade sales. Handset colour may vary from that shown. ……………….

    • Yeah it locked to boost ( Telstra network )

      • Out of curiosity does that mean that although its locked to Boost it can be used on with any provider that uses the Telstra network, for example Aldi Mobile.

        • Yes, most likely.

Bad news on Cash Back… $99 min purchase price. See full terms & conditions.
b . • Thanks for the finding, too bad. JB is cheaper now.

  • will this work on optus if unlocked

    Boost = Telstra

Small screen 3.5", bit fiddly eg typing, but cheap. I would recommend paying a bit more and getting a bigger screen.

    • doesn't matter how tiny the screen is with swype/swift/googlekeyboard
swype works great on a lg l3 with it's tiny ass screen.

  • So its $99 with $20 cashback or $88 direct from HN
Not really a deal then =P (if you are willing to wait for the cashback to save another $9)

  • Potential MP3 player candidate. I'll have a sleep on it.

if you want a Mp3 player phone look at the Lg L3 comes out at 34.50 at woolies often and can be rooted to install ICS. Also look at the huawei ascend y201 that coles does for 39~ occasionally.

  • I have one-only a 3MP camera but the Walkman music player on it is fantastic.
