Smigit: T20% off on a VMWare Workstation 10 upgrade via the AU store using coupon "VMwBeta20". Just under $100AU for the upgrade. Supposedly it works on Fusion 6 upgrade and full along with the full purchase of workstation, but untested.

Edit by Bruce: Removed reference to deals for previous attendees (emailed details).

  • Sydney only.

  • The sort of people interested in this may have use for the coupon "VMwBeta20" I just used to get 20% off on a VMWare Workstation 10 upgrade via the AU store. Brought it just under $100AU for the upgrade. Supposedly it works on Fusion 6 upgrade and full along with the full purchase of workstation, but I haven't tested that.

  • …vForum 2013 – Australia's largest annual IT event.

Surely Tech Ed or Cebit would be bigger?

    • Definitely not the largest.

Think Cisco Live is even bigger as well.

  • +1

You can pickup a lot of freebies from the booths.. and perhaps some free software (?)

  • Thanks
