Dremel 3000 Series Multitool with 15 Accessories - $73 delivered amazon uk

140

Terrific price for a top tier tool. Tired of tearing through tiles with a toothbrush? This tiger will take tough things and turn them into taffy.

Enough of that. In the past I havent been able to ship dremels from Amazon. Can't remember if I tried amazon uk but it seems to be working today.

Reviews are great and the brand is highly respected. I don't think these are covered under Dremel/Bosch's Australian warranty (which is 5 years locally) but these are built tough. Ive never needed to send one back anyhow.

  • Love the OP's review.
At least it doesn't look like an Amazon/UK price error, but these days, who can you trust?

    • Judging by the price history I doubt its an error, seems to be a regular price drop.

  • What is this use for?

its a high speed rotary. So, you can put a small grinding disk on it, or sanding, or engraving, and so on.

Priceless if you DIY anything around the house that might involve cutting.
If not, then its not for you.

The fact you had to ask, actually, suggests its not for you.

My description might have confused. Dont use it on your teeth!

Works very well to file down long dog nails. Tried using it on my own nails out of curiosity and that didn't turn out so well.

    • What's it for?

      That's an excellent question.

It's great for dinky jobs like pc case modding. Otherwise it is pretty useless because of it tinyness and lack of power.

Lack of power? What the heck are you trying to cut through? Diamond?

It's worth looking on ebay UK and Amazon UK. I got a more complete set for a good price.

    • Can we see it?

    noice alliteration "theworks"

  • I don't know if I would say that these are built tough. Mine, which is the same as above, has been used maybe 10 times (about 5 mins each time) for only very light sanding with a small sanding drum and the bearings are now very grindy and the variable speed slide no longer reliable. My Dad has one that is about 15 years old and it is still going strong.

  • so the Dremel 10.8V Li-ion Cordless Rotary Multi Tool set for bout $149 from syd power tools is good cordless set ?
