    • Not sure about getting offended, but it is hard to believe that the 5C is a good choice when it's basically the same specs as the iPhone 5 but more expensive.

    • As long as you know your money is well spend, go for it. Just me, I think iPhone 5 (1 year old phone) is better than this iPhone 5C.

i like to see how many idiots get onto this phone. Buying 5S i can understand, but 5C for $699+, paying fortune Apple to change color of their case…

    • +3

And then putting a cheap $2 plastic case they bought from eBay on top of it, which completely defeats the purpose of buying said colorful phone.

      • My thoughts exactly!

        • People still gonna put craps all over the their phone for some protection regardless of makes. Does it mean phone companies should produce ugly ass phone since it will be covered anyway?
btw, have you recently bought a $2 cover from ebay before making that comparision statement?

No queue to get iPhone today (other than the Sydney apple store). one could just walk in and get the phone. Funny, no one wanted the 5C at the Telstra shop…. I expect the price to drop on 5Cs much quicker than the previous versions.

Yup, no queue at the Perth stores too. It has been rather steady the whole day, around 10-ish 5s sold so far.

I do not think Apple is going to drop the price of 5c anytime soon. Not until iPhone 6 comes out.

    • At my local Telstra shop, only 10% of the 5Cs in stock were sold today..

In saying that, they are selling iPhone 5S $15 cheaper at Telstra shop (32GB iPhone5S for $984)!

No deal. Local warranty And support is worth much more than $40. Plus it is from Kogan, Meh.

Once again a thread on Apple pricing gets derailed by insecure people eager to prove their superiority. If you hate Apple so much, go back to using Symbian on a featurephone.

  • I love to hear you son of bitches whining about apple products. Its not for everyone and certainly not for ppl who cant afford it. yes they are expensive, but hold their prices too when you wanna resell. Pissed about they being too overpriced? too bad, spend ur money elsewhere.

  • Why would anyone want this over even the old iphone 5. They have the exact same spec. The iphone 5 is of better quality build and even light than the 5c. You can get an iphone 5 for $10 from kogan. So no deal on this.

    • iphone 5 for $10? i have 10 thanks!!!

  • If this is Grey import the savings should be at the very least 10%, since no gst. This is saving less than that, I can't see how anybody consider this a deal? With Australian dollar improving, you'd think there would be a considerable saving over local stock?

  • Kogan again? If its cheap, its price error.
