Pocket HD Media Player, Full 1080P HDMI - USB, SD Card. DTS Decoding $28.95 + Shipping $9.99

20

I bought of these from DX.com for $50 and it is brilliant. It plays just about any media file you can imagine and it also decodes DTS sound (many MKV files have DTS only) which none of my other DVD players/Bluray players or media players will do. What I love about this is the very small size and the high picture and sound quality. You can output HDMI or for older TVs YUV (RGB) or AVI (yellow video with red and white sound channels. Not sure when this will expire, so I've put 7 days on it.

I bought this for holiday home and overseas travel (very small and light and will plug into any TV).

    Delivery & Handling: $9.99 not 9.95. It's whole 4 cents more!

It doesn't have the internet. Might help to read the product description before posting next time :)

        Oops, my bad. :)

    • This is an offline media player, don't get it confused with the Android TV sticks / TVPads you've been seeing.

  • How simular are these at ebay?, they look almost the same

    $13.99 plus $7.99 postage

    • There are 3 different ones in the link you posted. The $14 one is 720p and no HDMI. Where as the more expensive one >$30 seems to have the same specs as the OPs post.

    • That unit does not decode DTS sound. A big issue for me as I have loads on MKV files with DTS sound. The only way I can play them is to send the audio signal to an amplifier with DTS sound decoding capabilities, this unit will convert to analog, so that you can hear the sound on the track (in stereo).

  • Sorry, i didn't notice that they where all differant prices

  • MKV? color me surprised.

  • Does anyone know if these have a resume function? I.e. to start where it last left off? I'm thinking of having it in the car. An older player I have didn't resume and it was a pain to get back to the same spot again each time the car powers off.

  • Picked up one of these in Singapore. I plug it into hotel TV's when I am traveling so that I can watch my own movies/play music through the TV. Very handy.
