Angell Custom Tennis Racquets - $50 off Opening Special! Racquet $199 + $10 Delivery

70
welcome

Angell Tennis has just launched in Australia, and to get things moving we're offering $50 off the price of our outstanding custom racquets for the first month.

Our racquets will normally be priced at $249, but if you enter the code "welcome" before the 18th October we'll reduce the price by $50.

On top of this, if you like and share our Facebook page I'll throw in one of our soft racquet sac's with your racquet order to protect your frame. Our Facebook page can be found here http://www.facebook.com/AngellSportAU

Angell Racquets are the design of the renowned Paul Angell who designed racquets for Steffi Graf, Mark Philipousis, Marat Safin and Amelie Mauresmo to name a few. We give you the ability to fully customise your racquet specs from string pattern, stiffness, grip size and shape through to the colour you are after. There are some links on our Facebook page on how to choose the specs for your racquet.

If you've got any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

  • Wow, just never heard of Angell before. Can I ask you something? Can you make 90 squared metre like Firscher Vaccum classic?

  • Hi Daddydirtsurfer, there is some talk about reviving the 90" head frame however due to it being quite a niche size (by today's standards) it is only a maybe at the moment. The molds do exist though, and Paul is talking about it. So keep any eye on our Facebook page and web page and you never know your luck! Make sure you check out the TC95 though, it's a cracker!

    • Thanks for a quick reply.

I lost some tennis knowledge when I stopped playing 3 years ago. I might return to monday night competition.

Might consider the 95 one, which one is the even balance with strings? 10pts and 310mm?

  • Depending on the string you'd want something between 2-6 points head light. That may leave the overall weight a little low if you want even balance. I'd suggest getting a 95" to the correct weight you're after, then add some lead to the hoop to get even balance once you have strings on.

  • Hi Angell SportAU,

I am on the page at the moment and cannot seem to find a place in the cart or checkout to input a code.

    • Hi Blorgglorg

I've just checked the website and the 15% discount on two racquets is working ok.

It is a better deal though to enter the promo code "welcome" in the basket which will give you $50 off each frame. This will over ride the 15% discount.

Let me know if you need any more help. I'm also on Facebook chat which may be easier to chat through.

      Thanks

      • Hi Angell SportAU,

It is true that the 15% off discount is working okay. However there used to be a section to input the "welcome" code which has now disappeared :(

Could you please look into that?

        Thanks mate.

  • +1

    Hi

Thanks for letting me know. A quick work around is:

    • Remove one racquet from your cart so you have only one racquet in your cart.
    • The promo code box will then reappear
    • Enter welcome in the promo box and update total
    • Change the quantity of racquets or build and add another frame
    • Discount should appear for both frames

Thanks for picking this up. I'm on the road at the moment but will resolve properly tonight.

    Thanks

  • Guys,

Just a quick reminder that this offer is coming to an end this Thursday. If you need any advice on how to spec up a custom racquet, I'm more than happy to help.

Please get in touch if you need a hand

    Thanks
    Dave
