That's vanilla RX100, this is RX100 MKII which is a much better camera.

The RX100 mark 2 compared with the mark 1 has WiFi, ability to shoot in 24p, a horseshoe connector and a vertically articulating LCD. Your call if that's worth $200+ over the mark 1.
There's that, and there's a few comparison videos on youtube/vimeo showing that the II has worse low light performance than the original. There are also threads on dpreview and the like with people comparing both the cameras.
Personally (and the thoughts of many others on the issue) is that the mark 1 is a better camera for the price, hence why it is still so popular.
Your call if that's worth $200+ over the mark 1.
Depends on how cheap you can get the mark II (see antler's comment below); I see the price difference as roughly $100 rather than $200+.
I got it for $740 from the Sony Center. I'm sure you can haggle it down further.

That $587.40 is for the old version. I'm keeping my eyes open for this camera too.
Sony Center Brisbane cannot meet $740 saying that would be below cost. I trust an OzB'r before a salesman so I am wondering how to get them to match that price.
