  These are pretty good deals. Especially the panasonic, if you care about sound quality.
  My micro-hifi died recently, and need a new one. Problem is they don't make them with DVD much anymore, and I don't need new speakers.
  Don't suppose anyone in Perth interested in taking the speakers of the Panasonic for half?

    If the person buying this cared about sound quality they wouldn't be buying an all in one system like this in the first place. These are designed for conveniece by companies not well known for good audio gear.

      I agree in principle, but some are much better than others. I can't afford the space in this particular room for a full-blown setup (I have another room for that), but that doesn't mean I want to go for supercheap sound quality.

    I'm guessing their delivered items come from a central warehouse, which is out of stock. They are now clearing shop stock.

  BTW, thanks OP. I bit the bullet and got the CMTMX750NI. I liked the WiFi feature, and this looks like a spectacular deal at $149.

  In the US, the EC709i has been superseded by the MHC-EC719iP but not here in Australia yet.
