    Vibration-activated is another way of saying it'll sound off whenever it damn pleases; especially while you're fast asleep.

    I have one of these and can be useful to attach to your motorbike, bicycle, or outdoor stuff. Not extremely loud at all and not really suitable for home protection but it definitely has it's use.
