You don't think telling us that these are second hand (refurbished) is important? Hoping everyone doesn't notice the Ebay item condition?
Also before anyone impulse buys, the RRP is a joke. These sell brand new with double the warranty for $450 from an authorised Yamaha dealer. $299 for second hand, half the warranty and higher probability of having issues cannot be classified as a bargain.

these are referbs which means very much 2nd hand and probably popped a voice coil from being thrashed by the previous owner, patched back up and flogged off cheap.
also you never sold these referbs for anything close to $899, even new speakers wouldnt ever sell for that much

being that there is at least 6 voice coils (one in each of the 4 woofers and one in each of the 2 tweeter) and it was probably only one that poped it means the 5 others have been similarly thrashed but not yet poped. so yea i wouldnt touch these….
Agreed with all above… we should not promote such sellers on OZBargain….
Please note that our product is refurbish by Yamaha, not us . it still come with original retail box, some of these are just box damage and check by Yamaha before a refurbish sticker is put on the Box . Anyone who buy it would know it is a refurbish product with 12 months warranty. considering how easy it is to get neg feedback removed from ebay, and considering how deceptive this "deal" has been….. claiming 0 negative feedback actually goes against you not for you…… i would put money on it that you have had neg feedback on ebay but simply got them removed.
in fact looking again, "10,405" feedback and not a single neg? i find that impossible to believe. you just can not sell that many items on ebay and not have had at least one person complain about something. it is a statistical impossibility. it only takes an item to get held up in post or damaged or anything and people leave negs.

I have just bought these speakers & their sub, hooked up in Bi-amp mode to a sony reciever, and believe me it sounds great.. I did a lot off shopping around and listened to a lot of speakers before going with these…
And by the way you can listen to these speakers at HN and pay hundreds more for them there if you want a bricks and mortar store…
