    Thats very very limited geez

  • +2

Going by past deals, stores which list stock as limited may not have any stock at all. Best to ring before going in.

  • Showing two stores in NSW with limited stock.

  • Or it is display stock or a faulty return

    • +1

It's just a crap camera with limited use really.

I'd say, depending on what phone you have, it will probably take comparable photos.

  • Just now, Penrith Officeworks told me there's none on display, only one that's been returned. He's not sure if it's faulty. Only other one left is in Canberra, pick-up only.

  • Did anyone manage to get one?

    • +1

Not by the sounds of it. Was probably sold out before this thread was created.

Were $99 at MLN not long ago, good deal, sold out unfortunately.

    • +1

My smart phone has a better camera than this, I have the MLN camera, it has 18 X optical zoom or the other has 26 X optical zoom,, most definitely not the same class of camera.
This one is ony 5 X optical zoom, at most it was only ever worth $79, at $49, its probably what it should be.
Not a good camera at all.

So your negging because, its not as good as your camera? Your links are for almost 3 times the price of this one.

Find me this camera cheaper? or at least have a valid reason for negging. Just cause you dont like the camera?

        • +1

I negged the deal, because there are a lot of cameras with 5 X optical zoom for $49.
          That is the first reason

I then negged Lala1911 comment on the $99 MLN camera, which has nothing to do with this garbage for $49.

Bargain, is cheap for what it is, not just "cheap"
There are Barbie cameras at Kmart for $19.

        • Link the camera or it didnt happen. By the way it needs to be 16mp with min 5x zoom to compare, not your barbie cam ;p

        • Learn about cameras, fool.

          16MP?

I suppose the professional Nikon D4 with 16.2MP, costing into $5-6K (no lens) takes comparable pictures to this beauty for $49, then does it?

You talk about a phone costing more, but doesn't everyone have a smartphone these days? The camera is no cost; you have a computer in your pocket with a camera as an add-on. Use that camera.

If you would like an opinion on what phone to get based on the camera, the iPhone 5s and Samsung Galaxy SIII both have fantastic cameras on them. If you want a cheaper option, like I do, I can't recommend the Sony Xperia range highly enough - check them out on Kogan.

      • I very much doubt your smart phone camera has optical zoom to begin with it's just digital zoom. So that smart phone camera is not better to begin with. Your comment is full of bull.

Hollykryten, 5 X zoom is what modern digital zoom is, the HTC One for example takes better photos than this camera does. Its not the mega pixels and zoom only.

Youtube videos on it to see yourself. Why buy a crap camera and carry that around when you have a good phone already?
5 X optical zoom was a good spec about 5 years ago.
This camera is garbage, that is all I am saying.
