    rookie mistake…

    • where is the 'bargain'…looks like advertising to me

Mod: Invalid reason for negative vote

    • well thought additional 10% discount with a coupon valid for few days on top of already marked down products was a deal,
though I tried to advertise the 10% discount on top of reduced prices
      thanks for the comments anyways

  • From website:

I get the clothes made in Thailand, Bangladesh, China, Vietnam, & Holland. […] I know this would make some people go "WHAT??!!!"

    Holland as cheap-labour country? Really??!

    • Well I didn't mention these countries on the basis of cheap labor, but the quality. Also getting clothes manufactured in Holland isn't too costly always (Given you have good links)

Guys am a first timer submitting a deal. So go easy on me.

We don't take kindly to stores that think this website is for free advertising.

    • Well wasn't sure bout it, as I've myself been an OzBargainer for a while now & have seen many bargains similar to this one.

  • +3

    No deal here, just advertising.

Not being sarcastic but I guess we have different definitions to something called a DEAL
Though I agree to the later half of the comment, that this is advertising but with a DEAL

      • +2

Can you show us an example of an item that is cheaper than the competition?

So, go make a DEAL to sell through some DEAL sites - Groupon etc.

This site is for bargains or free stuff.

      • +2

Look if this is your definition of a deal fair enough it's your opinion. Go run around in circles singing 'Sunshine Lollipops And Rainbows' or something, I couldn't care less. This deal of yours is not a deal in terms of ozbargain, and don't get me wrong, I'm just stating facts, so maybe do some researching to make it more appealing next time. And here's another tip, drop the caps, drop the repetition, we get the point.

        • Ok:) but anyways it was my first time so, I tried my best.
And even though you said you couldn't care less but still you were soo deeply going through it that even noticed that use caps & repeated few things.
Well it's one of the ways of marketing that leaves an impression.
Sorry but am really in a good mood so annoying you bit (EXTRA).
Thanks again for your comments :)

No, I couldn't care less about your opinion, I as an ozbargainer take a good look at every deal before I make a decision, including yours (don't put words in my mouth ok?). You have to drop the attitude mate, I'm really sick and tired of reps such as yourself on ozbargain thinking I'll just freely advertise here because I can and it's free. I was trying to tell you to change your ways but clearly you are on here just to annoy us. Don't have to thank me for my comments, just do the right thing, the bottom line is I'm on this forum looking to buy, you are giving me a reason not too and frankly, everyone else feels the same.

I don't see where the bargain is ?

Hey rep, you should actually add a cheap item (the deal) or what you are selling in the title. And link to the actual website instead of uploading a photo. And if you really are selling flowers I don't think they will get past Australian quarantine.

    • thanks for the advice, you are the only one so far to guide me on how to do this thing better next time.
And bout the flowers which will be delivered in Aus are in Australia itself & same is with other countries too, flowers don't fly cross country keeping in mind the quarantine.
      thanks again

flowers don't fly cross country keeping in mind the quarantine.

Yes they do. Millions of dollars worth a year are imported/exported by air.

"Australia is now an integral part of the expanding world flower trade, which, in 2000, was worth an estimated US$7 billion. Over 65 countries are involved in the international trade in cut flowers and foliages. The main countries exporting fresh flowers are:
        the Netherlands
        Colombia
        Israel
        Ecuador
        Spain
        Italy."

"Australia’s potential for exporting flowers lies in its unique native flora, a rich resource of valuable new flower products waiting to be fully developed and marketed to the world. The true value of the Australian export industry is not clearly defined but is likely to be greater than published estimates, currently around A$50 million per annum.

We compete with Israel and USA (California), as well as South African and South American countries. Compared with Australia, these countries often enjoy lower labour costs, abundant labour pools, close proximity to major markets, subsidised air freight and preferential tariffs and other duties. In order to survive, Australian growers and exporters must therefore be committed to quality and service.

Australian native flowers, South African proteaceae and foliage lines account for around 95% of all Australian flower exports. The ‘top ten’ are:
        Waratahs
        waxflower (Chamelaucium spp.)
        kangaroo paw (Anigozanthos spp.)
        thryptomene (Thryptomene spp.)
        stirlingia (Stirlingia spp.)
        protea (Protea spp.)
        banksia (Banksia spp.)
        leucadendron (Leucadendron spp.)
        koala fern (Caustis spp.)
        scholtzia (Scholtzia spp.)
        eucalytpus foliage (Eucalyptus spp.)."

        • hahahahaaa…thanks for long lengthy info, but I meant I do not deal in flying flowers cross country & to keep it simple I deal with local florists everywhere.
But thanks again for sharing your research.

So, the 'bargain' is the 10% discount - correct?

However, the prices before the discount are at least double those at other stores/eBay etc.

So, this is not a 'bargain'.

Also, this item does not have the required Australia Electrical Safety certification for sale or supply in Australia.

    EDIT:
OP has heavily edited the title, and the link, and added a 'bargain' item.

However, I still believe the other items on his site are not bargains - and even this no-name brand Aussie Style Deep Round Neck is not a bargain at $9.10 - Kmart has nice Ts for $4-$8

    Brand "Eager HOMME"
    Slogan "Simplers Life"

    • Well that product which you are talking bout hasn't got Required Australian Electrical Safety Conditions, is sold in physical stores like, Dr.Boom (Communications), Mobi King, etc around in Sydney & Westfield majorily @ the price of $89.00.
Rest bout the Kmart tops well not everyone likes those & on top of their prices I guess they charge you shipping if you want them delivered @ your place.
Thanks anyways for your time & info about eager homme

Wow! I don't think I have ever seen so many errors in only two sentences before now. Out of interest - how old are you?

Where exactly are these two stores, Mobi King and Dr.Boom?

Why do you think that you can do something illegal just because others do the same, or similar, illegal thing?

Anyway, are you disputing my claim that this item (like others on your site) can be purchased from other suppliers for at least half of what you are charging? This same battery case is $12 including delivery from eBay sellers. Your normal price was $41 and your sale price is $27.

As Dan_ asked you earlier ->

Can you show us an example of an item that is cheaper than the competition?
