      Thank goodness for the USA. All these years I would have been wasting my time reading subtitles - thankfully they have translated it to American for easy consumption.

    Apparently the American one is not a direct version of this "The Returned (French: Les Revenants) is a television drama series created by Fabrice Gobert and shown on Canal+ in France and BeTV in Belgium. Eight episodes were shown from 26 November to 17 December 2012. It is an adaptation of the 2004 film They Came Back (in French titled Les Revenants).
    The American one is based on the book 'The Returned' which sounds like a rip off of 'They Came Back' seeing as the book was published in 2013 and the movie came out in 2004

    Don't wait for the US version. I just watched this first episode. It's worth watching and I can't wait to see the rest of the season!!
