Handy for anyone who just missed out the Coles deal two weeks ago.

Huawei Y201 still for $39.00 at Target. I just bought one at Target Springwood QLD today and there should now be two left.

Instead of rushing to Springwood Target, I think it will benefit more people if they can buy from other price matching places and call Target Springwood (07)3387-3600 for proof of stock whilst at the other retailers so more people can get the deal.

The price label on the window also shows a date of 23-10-13 so I'm not sure if it's the date that this offer is still valid until.

Maybe not as good as the Coles offer where you can essentially pay 50c more for some flybuys points but if you just want the cheapest phone around then it's reassuring that it's still available ^^.

Out of the box, the phone can still boot into normal mode with non-Telstra SIM cards but just wouldn't be able to make calls or messaging or access mobile internet until it's unlocked.

    What size sim cards to these take? I am considering using it when travelling, nano sims for my ip5 can be hard to find in some places.

      Just the standard one (Not the micro sim, Not the nano sim).

      If you are on one of the big carriers I guess you can just walk into one of their stores and ask for a sim swap, its most certain that it will be a free swap (always free at voda) when you say you need a different size sim and just do the same again to swap back to a nano sim when you're back.

    been using this phone for awhile, its quite decent for its cheap value
    gets a bit laggy using chrome.

      gets a bit laggy using chrome.

      If you don't want to root/install custom rom - try Boat Browser (It supports flash player)

      If you want to root and install custom rom like CM10.10 - then the stock JB browser is pretty good.

    This phone has the Blue Tick for country areas and more importantly it runs Terraria. I purchased one last time this offer was on.

    Can this be unlocked for free using the pacman rom hack?

    Is it similar to the Motorola Defy+ offer where you can unlock it for free.
