      I bought one for my iPhone 4S when it was $80 and its totally worth it. I've accidentally dropped my phone 3 or 4 times from about a metre high. Also put it in a bucket of water more than a few times to clean it. Recently took the phone out of the case after its been inside for over a year to swap out the sim card and it still looks brand spanking new.

    FYI-
    Thought I share… been reading up and watching videos on Lifeproof Fre case for iPhone5.
    Apparently the first generation of the case has issues, eg. person on the other end of the call have difficulties hearing because the case is so well sealed, it blocks the microphone, etc. Some, if not all of the issues in the first generation was fixed in the second generation of the case. Not sure how to distinguish between first and second generation of the case though.

      I knew that feeling as my Lifeproof case for iPhone4 and iPhone5 both have hearing problem…..
