keys are bundled into 2 sets again…….. Wargame and Sherlock on one key, the rest on the other :(

    • Forgive my lack of understanding, but what's issue with bundling the keys into two sets? Does this mean that you have to download all games under the set? I really only wanted to download Cities XL. Thanks.

      • +4

The games are downloaded individually. The advantage of individual keys is you can give away the spare ones.

        • Thanks heaps. Appreciate the response…..

Before you go and buy this purely for the Game of Thrones game, you should be aware that it was a terrible game and should never have been made… An Australian Review of it, FYI…

    • Wow, what a junk game for an awesome show

      • +2

Games that are made based on shows/movies usually have rushed development and as a result it comes out crappy / buggy.

Couldn't be further from the truth. It's an above average game with very good writing and story let down by poor combat. It's nothing like those cheap cash ins and is well worth playing.

      • your probably right.. just like the first season of the show lol.

If it was epic like skyrim then…

    • Same with Blood Bowl (which is basically an American football spinoff of Warhammer).

GG did a review of that back when Junglist was still on the show. It was actually one of the funnier reviews that they did:-

      JUNG
Catching the ball in the end zone, getting knocked down, everything is decided in the usual Warhammer way - die rolls. And here's where the game falls apart for me. Even picking up the ball requires a die roll, and watching your opponent fumble around with it for a few turns, which happens quite often, gets ridiculous. Meanwhile your own players are taking die rolls just to not trip over their own feet, which happens quite often, and all this fumbling causes so many turnovers it gives the audience whiplash.

      JUNG
There's also the option to play this out in real-time, which is probably every Blood Bowl fan's dream come true, but to me it just looked like a faster paced incoherent mess.

It made me think that any game maker that relies so heavily die rolls, has taken one too many spiked balls to the head. I don't think it's a problem with the adaptation, I just think the actual original game sucks.

      BAJO
Well this isn't the first remake Jung, there's definitely an audience for Blood Bowl.

      JUNG
I think once upon a time, it was a board game, die rolls were necessary, and there was imagination involved. Now that we don't have to imagine it, it's played out before our eyes. It's. Actually. Quite Crap.

  • Is Cities XL Platinum any good?

    • I don't know personally, but I've heard many people say that it's a more-than-worthy alternative to SimCity (the latest), especially after the farce of that release.

    • I gave it a try. My problem with it is the same as with Cities in Motion, which is that I find the interface very confusing. Maybe if I invested more time in it I would get the hang of it, but it is certainly not as easy to pick up as Sim City 4 was

Quite addictive, but buggy too, it eats all your ram if you don't turn it off and turn it on after a few hours of gameplay.

      • they still havnt fixed that? its been years

        • I don't know if they fixed it or not, but tbh I don't think they support the game much… Not anymore

        • If I remember correctly, the original developers of Cities XL shut down, then Focus took over and basically released the same game over and over again with minor changes and extra content, all without fixing the major bugs present from 2009.

Blood Bowl is fun but a little slow.

Well worth $1 USD by itself though…

    • not to mention a bit of a learning curve as well, but it is a game I come back to all the time

    • +1

Yeah I was thinking of buying just for blood bowl… might give it a go.

Do I go all out and splash out $6 for sherlock holmes is the question lol.

  • awesome thanks!

  • Thanks works great

Whether to pay $6 or not for games is a non issue - it's $6. But do I want another 8 games in my steam account that I may never play - That is the question.

    • Exactly, if it was individual keys it would be a no brainer, but I don't want to add 7 games I'll never play just so I can play the 1 :(

      • +4

Just sort by installed games only?

        • -1

          I give you + for a smart reply :)

        • I know this, but it's the principle of activating something that will never be used.

  • +5

The package worths it for Divinity 2 alone by far. Its the base Divinity 2 game + expansion + developer mode.

  • -3

Lets just say that if you see this and you don't spend at least $1 you shouldn't own a computer.

    • +3

I own multiple computers and I'm not spending a dime on it, umadbro?

But really, it is indeed a great deal. Some people (like me) just have a nice big backlog of games to sift through. :)

      • +8

……and some crazy people like me just keep adding to their backlog…..sigh

        • I hear you, I have heaps that I may never play but for the 1 USD eh why not.

        • Just tell yourself your helping raise money for charities and it wont seem as bad… That's what i do.. looks at the 415 steam games i own, half of which i haven't even played.. >.<

  • +1

This is no need to pirate when games are so cheap. It pays to be a patient gamer, wait until a few years after release until to the games have been fully patched, all the DLCs out, mod created, base price lowered, then snap them up on a Steam sale or indie Bundle deal.

    • Don't even really have to wait years. I remember grabbing Borderlands 2 about 6 months after it was released (IIRC) for about $8. Seriously, insane value!

  • Great deal - cheers OP!
