        The city range is a cross between a lonely planet style book and a journal. The one I was looking at was from 2008 and the amazon comments said the maps and listings were badly out of date..

      Yep, prices for a few items seems to have just spiked. Swapped for some similar items and quickly proceeded to checkout.

    I'm very tempted to buy a couple of these, but as a student I don't think they'd really be as functional as binder-punched A4 notepads (or loose leaf).

      as an a student myself and having tried to get into moleskine as a fancy notebook alternative, I can say now you are much better off with the standard a4 pads.

    Is there a felt moleskin finish to the cover of these notebooks or is it just a trendy name giving it cachet?
