  • +1

Look back at previous ozbargain listings and you will see this becomes free almost every other month and has been free just recently . I'd say it's a waste of money paying a joining fee, it's better to wait until it becomes free again.

    • I'd say it's a waste of money paying a joining fee

unless you want a $349 tawny port for $59 :)

      • Don't drink my friend.

        • others do/will :)

  • Yep, free memberships (with no bonus gift), $59 memberships (with bonus gift - champers or tawny which is probably worth the price) and complimentary renewals after 1st year m'ship have been made extremely frequently. One suspects that they wouldn't have many members for a $99 joining and renewal fee, particularly if the 'limited time only' gift on join wasn't even provided.

IMO, Epiqure pricing has become much less competitive in the last 6 months. However, there are a small number of true bargains still to be found if you look closely, particularly if you use the 15% off code posted today.

  • Any chance there's a picture of the bottle of tawny in the ad? Trying to confirm if the bottle of rare tawny given away is the same as the one they sell or this one http://danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_364072/seppeltsfield-par….

    • Don't assume it's the $349. More info here: http://www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au/community/qantas-f…

      • Never assumed it was. I'm trying to find out more details.

    • It is pictured, however it's a different bottle to the one within Dan Murphy's. It's from the Paramount collection and I believe its been done as an exclusive for epiQure. I would have suggested that it has a retail price of around $69, in line with the Taittinger option, however @tonester has spoken to epiQure team and they confirmed its the $349 bottle.

      Bargain!
